If you live in LA County, you’re probably going to want a good fence. Heck, I think that if I lived in Los Angeles County, I would probably put three or four fences around my yard. You can get some crazy stuff going on there, and you don’t want any of it spilling over into your property.

The real dilemma is what kind of fence to go with. I grew up with a wood fence around our yard. I remember when my dad put it up. It took forever and was a pain in the butt. Wooden fences can be kind of pricey, too. Wood doesn’t just grow on trees. Wait… I guess it does. Nevermind. One thing about wood slats is that the weather can do a real number on them over time and animals and birds can claw away at them and damage them. Vinyl fences and vinyl gates are another good and affordable way to go. Orange County Vinyl gates will do a great job of keeping your neighbor kid out of your yard. If you live in LA County vinyl gates and high vinyl fences are the only way to go. The vinyl that they have available these days can be pretty tough stuff.
