This world is a beautiful place. As I was driving past the mountains, I had one of those moments when I realized how special my friends are to me. (It also helps that I was listening to Death and All of His Friends, by the beloved band Coldplay). I am so blessed to live in America, a country that takes care of its citizens. I mean think about it, if I had a car accident today, there is a law that I follow that protects me from my life being ruined. Those people out there that have a texas insurance adjuster license have worked hard to allow me to forego the tragedy of unexpected and heavy debt for the rest of my life.

But enough talk of car accidents. Let’s talk about the idea of having a job as an insurance worker, because that seems particularly interesting to me at the moment. If I was the average worker with a texas insurance adjuster license, that would mean that I have gone through years of public school, many periods of general teenage mistake-making, and finally survived the challenging years of higher education. I would be someone who is continuiung the capitalist economy and the lifestyle we have set up where we have safety nets to protect us from devastation and tragedy. It’s a great country and I hope that these kinds of safeties can be further ensured for other nations.
